"The vibe of the place is very friendly - we met other travellers and enjoyed just getting to know each other in the guest house/restaurant. There are cooking classes, Vietnamese language classes, a pool table, books, kayaks, snorkelling and our favourite - 6 week old puppies! A few steps back to our cottage overlooking the sea. I just wished we could have stayed longer!"

"People in the past took thousands years trading everything to change into a new modern life, then the modern life killing their emotion day by day. Now they are finding something very from the root, the beginning, the origin to balance their life. Come here to Bamboo [Cottages]. Here is a very simple life when you take time to lie down the beach and listen to the waves,no one can disturb you, with the very lovely, funny and helpful staff and family atmosphere. You know how to enjoy your life."

"Had the set menu dinner here with 3 of my friends and we all agreed it was THE best food we ate during our 3 week stay in Vietnam.  Staff very friendly and the American manager came and gave us some advice on where to go and what to see. Would recommend to someone wanting a relaxing stay with great scenery."         - Jase, April 2015
"We loved their "business model" because of many details. One of the most important was that they are a eco friendly accommodation so you can enjoy nature without the least environmental impact.
We went in the wet season and just one day rained. Despite this, you enjoy the atmosphere and do not get bored. In the hall there are a pool, board games, cross booking, cards, film at night. In addition, they propose activities to hire: massages, dinner with Vietnamese family, cooking class, hire a motorbike."

"Off the beaten track is something of an understatement as you bounce down the red clay track to the verdant and homey main building. Our flight had been delayed by three hours but the team waited up for us to give my partner and I a beer and settle us in.
We ate like kings, drank generous cocktails, bobbed in the sea which crashed to shore metres away from our cottage and left refreshed and happy. The cottages are large and consist of one main room with a comfy double bed and a partially covered bathroom which lets in the warm rain leaving you feeling close to nature and refreshed.
If you want to sit staring at Facebook while your phone is on charge all day, JUST STAY HOME. If you want to appreciate the true beauty and kindness that beats at the heart of this wonderful country then Bamboo Cottages is your home from home and the seed from which genuine relaxation and happiness can flourish."

"We enjoyed every minute of the time we spent here and it made our honeymoon just so perfect. It was the little things that made us happy here: the great music you played in the common room everyday, the wonderful complimentary breakfast we had every morning, the delicious family meals every second evening, the Vietnamese lessons we took, the motorbikes we hired to ride around the island, the kayak and snorkeling gear we rented from you, the sweet antics of the puppies and the feeling of family and community that exists at Bamboo Cottages."

"What a way to end our holiday in Vietnam! We had 4 nights booked but within minutes decided to extend our stay to 7 nights. We would fall asleep listening to the gentle waves and wake up to incredible sun rises. Showers under the stars. Be prepared for little visitors such as ants and gekkos. We didn't mind this in the least.
The food was delicious and the chef good fun and it's obvious he loves his job!  Charles, the manager, makes everything work seamlessly. We couldn't recommend this place more highly!"
